The United States President-elect Donald Trump has recently proposed that the Gulf of Mexico be renamed the Gulf of America. He has also suggested that the United States should reassert control of the Panama Canal Zone and annex Canada as her 51st state. Trump has further claimed the acquisition of Greenland from Denmark and reportedly sent his son to that territory to negotiate this unwise decision.

 

These expansionist remarks should not sound strange at all when echoed by a greedy businessman like Donald Trump presiding over a supremacist state whose history is rife with brutal hegemonic actions.

 

In fact, every place on the earth seems to be somehow anchored to the interests and security of the United States most often leading to widespread invasion, destruction, and interference in internal affairs of nations simply on false pretexts like fighting terrorism and human rights violations.
